Marriage Licenses
Guidelines
The bride-to-be and groom-to-be must both appear in person.
A license becomes effective in the County where it is issued one day after the date of issuance, and expires 60 days after it becomes effective, if the marriage has not been performed.
A valid driver's license or certified copy of a birth certificate is required to prove that each party is at least 18 years of age.
A license can be issued to parties 16 or 17 years old only with the consent of both parents or legal guardians, or with judicial approval.
The fee for issuance of a marriage license is $30.
